The Village at Mayo Clinic
Home to the Arizona Transplant House & American Cancer Society Hope Lodge
The Arizona Transplant House has been called "a home away from home" by transplant patients and caregivers at Mayo Clinic in Arizona. Since opening the first location at Brusally Ranch in 1999, the Arizona Transplant House has provided housing to more than 4,500 patients and caregivers.
Our mission is to provide a caring and healing environment for transplant and cancer patients and their caregivers.
The first 'casita' at The Village at Mayo Clinic was occupied on June 27th, 2009. The second casita was occupied September 8th, 2009 along with the opening of the first Hope Lodge casita. On June 13, 2011, the third casita was occupied bringing the total number of rooms for transplant patients to 18. Additional casitas will be built as contributions and funding becomes available. Complete Village site plans call for a minimum of 54 guest rooms.
Our patients have personally witnessed the hospitality, compassion, and friendliness of the people at The Arizona Transplant House -- and they regularly request to stay here again upon return visits.
